We are searching for a Therapeutic Foster Care Social Workers to join our Foster Care Program:

This is a full-time position within our Therapeutic Foster Care Program. The purpose of the program is to assure continuity of placement and provide support and case management for medically complex and therapeutic foster care families.

The Therapeutic Foster Care Social worker’s responsibilities will include supervision of foster homes in Fairfield County with SED or medically complex children. You will provide a variety of clinical assessments and supportive interventions, individualized to meet the broad needs of children and foster parents. In addition you will:

  • Assist in matching and placement of children in foster family homes;
  • Provide minimum weekly visits with child and foster family;
  • Demonstrate appreciation of cultural diversity, heritage and knowledge of cultural issues and patterns


  • MSW
  • Experience in child welfare
  • Flexible schedule and on-call coverage
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
