We are searching for a Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) Worker to join our team:
Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) is an in-home service, providing an evidence-based parenting program. The Triple P worker will be trained and accredited in the Triple P model. The worker will work with families, referred by DCF and other community providers, through the use of a thorough assessment of parent-child interaction, the application of parenting skills that address a broad range of target behaviors and the use of generalization enhancement strategies to promote parental autonomy. Triple P workers will need to respond effectively to meet the needs of clients and their children, staff, community members and funding agents. Maintain up-to-date and accurate manual and electronic records. Provide transportation for families as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social work or related field required
- Two years experience in a similar position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Connecticut driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Available transportation to perform home visits
- Bilingual required
