The ideal candidate should have some sales experience or abilities with desire to build physician relationships. The focus will be to serve as the primary sales contact representing the company to physicians' practices, with approved marketing plans, inside an assigned geographic area. As a Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant you will be responsible for working closely with physician practices in organizing workflow and educating staff. Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly sales performance objectives through effective sales presentations to customers, efficient territory management, and thorough product knowledge (including knowledge of competitive products and therapies)Maintain effective coverage of sales territory through consistent customer targeting, call routing, and routine follow up of all identified, targeted prescribersMaintain and consistently adhere to territory sales plans to maximize sales performanceMaintain consistent, routine communication with colleagues (phone, email, written) to consistently improve territory and corporate sales performanceMaintain consistent adherence to high standards of professionalism and performance Requirement/QualificationsOutside sales experience or abilities are needed for successExperience with CRM applicationsDemonstrated selling skills, organization, focus and determinationStrong leadership qualitiesAbility to achieve sales objectives.Must be able to work independently.Possess a valid Driver's License and current automobile insurance.Dynamic, self motivated & computer literate.Strong ability to communicate effectively Preferred Skills Sets Comprehensive understanding of health sciences; biotechnology and pharmacology. Some knowledge of the health care industry and third party reimbursement.
