Job Description:

Quality Assurance Our client, a specialty chemical company, is currently in need of a Quality Assurance person to support a growing team. Role:Manage standard operating procedures for all stages in manufacturing, in accordance with current GMP principlesRecommend, write and implement standard operating procedures and revisionsReview and update standard operating procedures on an ongoing basisConduct ongoing training of employeesMaintain employee training curricula and documentsEstablish change control proceduresManage supplier qualification programMaintain new product and new manufacturer logsManage raw material qualificationCreate and update product testing scheduleInvestigate and prepare responses to complaintsDevise and implement corrective actionsParticipate in educational opportunities and professional organizations for quality managementRecord incoming purchase orders for products on production scheduleIssue production batch recordsEnsure timely availability of raw materials for productionSupport on-site audits, audit reports, and audit follow-ups-Assist in the set up and maintenance of testing laboratories and warehouse facilitiesManage internal audit programPrepare responses to customer auditsHandle customers' technical inquiries Requirements:Bachelor's degree in related field of study1-3 yrs. work experience in a manufacturing environment, for pharma, personal care or CPGStrong College internship experience will be consideredStrong verbal and written communicationn skillsExcellent attention to detail and project management skillsStrong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience in IFS and GroupWise a plusMulti-lingual such as Chinese would be an asset.
