Our Client: is a technology centric,high service, high touch finance company positioned for rapid growthacceleration. Our Client serves the financing needs of the Small andMedium-sized Business (SMB) market through multiple market channels. POSITION: Senior Business Analyst- IT Operations (Commercial Finance Industry) LOCATION: South Western, CT. . Primary Responsibilities This position will report to our client's EVP & Chief Information Officer and will play a key role in collecting and coordinating corporate functional requirements with IT operations and vendor resources. A major responsibility will be to gather and analyze, document, and validate the needs of business stakeholders. The Senior Business Analayst- IT Operations, will utilize the full range of business analyst skills including: user interface, interviewing, workflow analysis, testing documentation, gap analysis and specification writing. ?? Collaborate and follow through with internal stakeholders in the collection of all functional requirements. ?? Draft logical and user-relevant business cases in order to demonstrate a thorough understanding of business needs. ?? Perform business process design in conjunction with operational objectives. ?? Managing and tracking all issues within IT and Operations, assisting with development and action plans, ensuring targets and timelines are met, reporting to senior management. ?? Review reporting requirements, document deficiencies and program modifications once approved. ?? Coordinate and manage outside vendor partner relationships. ?? Collect technical requirements from relevant stakeholder and partner with internal IT and/or outside vendors to deliver optimal results. ?? Be a Thought Leader in finding solutions and follow through on all actions steps. ?? Work closely with all corporate stakeholders in the creation of new products. ?? Interact with internal software development teams and outside vendor professionals. ?? Anticipate and preempt unforeseen issues when integrating business processes that involve multiple stakeholders. ?? Mentor & manage junior team members as required. Background & Skill Set ?? 2-7 years' experience in the corporate finance space, ideally in equipment finance. ?? Experience in collecting and configuring functional requirements into outside vendor packages is highly desired. ?? Experience configuring/programming in SQL is highly desired. ?? Knowledge of the software specification and configuration process is highly desired ?? Skilled and experienced at eliciting and documenting requirements. ?? Skilled and experienced at coordinating complex business needs with IT. ?? Knowledge and understanding of technology business systems (front and back office) for the corporate and/or the equipment finance industry. ?? Knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and compliance. ?? Knowledge and understanding of emerging technology and business trends. ?? Strong analytical skills with attention to details and accuracy. ?? Creative problem solver, able to think out of the box and challenges the status quo. ?? Strategic agility-strong understanding of how to get work done. ?? Ability to ask tough questions and push back professionally, follow through and meet corporate deadlines. ?? Demonstrated ability to build strong internal and outside vendor relationships. ?? Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. ?? Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical or business field.
