Job Description Support the planning, development, launch, and analysis of integrated marketing and customer relationship management efforts for the North American market.
  • Manage relationships with internal marketing, content/copy, graphic design, technology and operations professionals, and outside agencies and freelance resources to ensure marketing tools and campaigns are produced on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards
  • Partner with the core marketing team to streamline marketing processes and create a marketing process standard of excellence, and ensure adoption across various internal departments
  • Manage the production and distribution of print and electronic marketing materials
  • Contribute to the planning and development for efforts to build QBE's marketing presence across all channels including: print (collateral, banners, advertising), electronic (web, webinar, e-mail, social media, online communities) and event (trade shows, agency and broker meetings, road shows, industry conferences)
  • Analyze and assess digital marketing campaigns against performance goals (key performance indicators and return on investment)
  • Develop and maintain a marketing calendar allowing for distribution channel management and coordination of marketing efforts to target audiences, and proactively identify opportunities and conflicts; lead a weekly project tracking/status call with all stakeholders
  • Manage overall marketing department budget and expenditures against plan, make recommendations for incremental modification to capitalize on unforeseen opportunity

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience


Experience

4 years relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications

Marketing, communications or related field


Experience

Marketing experience in a large, fast-paced organization with competing priorities, ideally in an insurance or financial services based organization; experience working with internal creative and marketing teams, freelancers and agency teams to produce exceptional marketing materials across a variety of channels


Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Corporate communications planning and processes; communications/PR integration with a marketing function in a corporate environment
  • Event planning and experience fulfillment; the role of marketing in rounding out an event plan
  • Creative development processes and terminology
  • Insurance products, sales and underwriting
  • Latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • A/B testing and multivariate experiments
  • Database tagging, management and manipulation
  • The function of ad serving tools and website analytics tools

Skills

  • Possess strong analytical support skills and data-driven thinking
  • Communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner
  • Juggle multiple customers concurrently and effectively
  • Manage, build and distribute email campaigns, make real time modifications based on campaign performance
  • Write and edit copy on an occasional basis

Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including telephone, headset and computer. Incumbent must be able to lift basic office equipment up to 20 pounds.
