Job Description:

SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative's sole focus is to develop sales opportunities with Catholic Dioceses through establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential decision makers in target prospect clients. The organization is a cloud technology company utilizing a recurring revenue model for Intuit's QuickBooks desktop accounting software. There will be limited travel with all communication occurring via phone, e-mail, internet-based seminars/meetings, etc. This individual reports to the President and interfaces with all team members in the corporate office, and will work from their home office anywhere in the US. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Including but not limited to:Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.Develops account prospects by researching and identifying clients; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations leading to the preparation of quotations; preparing quotations.Promotes technical advantages and features of the organization cloud technology accounting platform.Recommends best practices, policies and quality results by following standards; recommending improved policies and procedures. Perform effective online presentations and demos to prospects Route qualified opportunities to the President for further development and closureMaintains frequent communication with key stakeholders until an account is obtained by the organization.Maintains Customer Relationship Management information to track all weekly activity that will be visible to the organizationAssists the home office in closing new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.Updates job knowledge by studying new Intuit Software product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities. Accomplishes the organization's new quarterly, semi-annual and annual revenue goals as measured by "user seats" by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in business, sales or a related field or a combination of education and related experience. EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years inside sales experience.Experience effectively generating sales leads via the phone.Proven track record of achieving sales goals within an inside sales environment.Experience presenting via the web to both small and large groups.Customer service and call center experience a plus.An Ordained Roman Catholic Permanent Deacon a plus. COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:Proven ability to expand new business through inside sales.Ability to initiate interactive business conversations at all levels of diocesan decision makers.Ability to Identify and develop strategies to overcome obstacles in the prospect's decision making process.Ability to build a strong pipeline and close new business and expand relationships with new clients.Highly motivated, driven and results oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills while displaying a high energy level and positive attitude.Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.Self-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic and the ability to take direction well.Team-oriented.Articulate with the ability to establish rapport quickly with prospects clients and maintain long-term relationships.Willingness to engage in direct sales calling.Strong computer skills including sales management/data management software, presentation software, web hosting applications, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Knowledge of QuickBooks is a strong plus.Technical, with the ability to rapidly learn and understand new technologies.Creative decision making and analytical skills with the proven ability to think quickly to arrive at developing solutions.Strong follow-up skills and accuracy.
