Category Manager - 199334 (PK)Job DESCRIPTIONYour challengeThis role further facilitates the exposure and penetration of CLNA category management and is an essential role providing category leadership enhancing retail partnerships by increasing category sales and aiding in fact based/strategic selling. Your responsibilitiesStrong contributions leveraging syndicated/POS scanning sales data, and knowledge and use of outside sources and shopper insights to uncover opportunities for key accounts, sales team, and also internal departments (both sales and marketing strategies)1. Develop the creation of new item selling decks in support of type A/B launches per the established frameworks. Coordinate closely with sales planning and leverage shopper insights to drive maximum category and shopper centric solutions at a national level2. Support the analysis and presentation of category/brand results for key promotional windows and/or full year review. Utilize output internally with senior management, and then commercialize results to maximize opportunities in the next selling season3. Create annual updates of Cat Man tool box in support of annual business planning and national sales meeting deliverables. Distribution priority/gap modeling, fair share tool, and insights playbooks as core deliverables. Coordinate closely with sales planning and marketing to develop strategies to incorporate into the distribution priority modeling so new item launches are incorporated appropriately with existing skus.We are looking forBA required, MBA prefered•IRI, Nielsen or NPD experience •Microsoft Office, advanced ability with Excel, PowerPoint, Database reporting • Bachelors Degree required• Space Management software knowledge (ProSpace/Intercept, Apollo or Spaceman) • 3-5 years minimum experience in sales with a major CPG company • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a cross functional environment • High energy and drive to succeed • Desire and ability to build new organizational competencies"Our company is an equal opportunity employer.
