Our Danbury area client seeks a Program Analyst for at least a 6 month project involving the coordination of a variety of business initiatives. Need a team player with 7+ years of Government Contracting background.
5+ Years of program scheduling experience within the aerospace industry, & requirements on creating/maintaining the development of engineering development programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required for this position. Experience with Other scheduling systems such as Primavera P6 is desirable. Candidate must also be able to support the implementation of the Earned Value Management techniques and requirements that are associated with a variety of contracts and business initiatives. Candidate must also have the skills necessary to help manage the functional events conducted by the Program Office, Engineering & Operations organizations in the overall contract life cycle. Candidates must also have a firm grasp of the principles of network logic, baseline, total slack, start / finish variance, experience with WBS elements and implementation, resource loading and understanding of SOWs.
Primary duties include but not limited to update/status existing schedules, perform critical path analysis, have an understanding of baseline control and have the ability to develop, prepare and implement work-around plans that help facilitate successful program completion.
Candidate should be a motivated self-starter, organized with good interpersonal skills able to communicate with all levels of the organization, demonstrates high energy, results oriented (commitment to follow up) self-motivated / self-reliant, team player, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment, understand how to prioritize workloads / daily duties and is able to take direction. Proficient with MS Office and able to organize, analyze data and present results. Familiarity with engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOM). Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision; support overtime needs to fulfill proposal and program requirements.
