Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee production of our electronic assembly manufacturing process.Supervise hourly employees on the production floor, including hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, etc.Assign employees as required to meet production schedule demands. Understanding of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 requirements for solder quality and workmanship. Knowledge of AS9100 requirements.Knowledge of electronic component parts, assembly techniques and processes including printed circuit board, surface mount, through-hole, and cable and harness assemblies.Able to read and interpret complex drawings, blue prints, schematics and other documentation as necessary.Able to operate basic printed circuit board inspection equipment.Ensure all employees have sufficient training and instruction to meet the Safety and Quality requirements. Works closely with employees in other departments to ensure requirements are understood and met.Tracks employee performance to established standards and Company requirements and provides feedback on performance within a timely manner. Audit employee's quality and compliance to established work methods. Provides feedback or corrective action if necessary.Lead continuous improvement activities for assigned areas of responsibility. Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical issues related to automated manufacturing equipment.Coordinates as a team member with other Production and support functions to ensure compliance to production schedules. Ability to meet deadlines and schedules in a fast-paced environment.Ability to design materials for educational and other purposes, using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and the ability to effectively communicate in a group or individual settings on such matters.Able to comprehend and effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal as it pertains to the job duties.Strong interpersonal skills and employee relations skills required.Ability to train.Knowledge of general office equipment, electronic and mechanical test equipment required.Bachelor's Degree required.Minimum 5-7 years related experience required preferably in a supervisory or management capacity of an electronic manufacturer.
