Receives, stores, disburses parts, materials and supplies, etc., from stockroom. Prepares, updates routine inventory control records and documents. Responsible for accuracy of daily transaction activity. Suggest and help implement process improvements to ensure quality objectives and goals are met.


* Pull material using customer orders, pick list, kanban cards, inventory transaction forms, NMR's and scrap to meet departmental objectives.

* Process required paperwork and transactions.

* Assist in setup and maintain kanban system by pulling material, placing new cards/labels, replacing old cards/labels and requesting replacement cards/labels.

* Perform and or assist in cycle counts as required by cycle counter to maintain required level of accuracy. Assist in preparation and counting for physical inventory.

* Pickup/receive material (assemblies, parts) and supplies, verifying quantity and quality using appropriate method (scale, hand count, visual).

* Determine appropriate (locked, floor) location and stock in a means that limits damage and deterioration. Process required paperwork and transactions.

* Interact and communicate with internal Marketing Services personnel, Production Control, Quality and Manufacturing to achieve overall departmental and company objectives.

* Maintain control and cleanliness of areas at all times, so that no unauthorized withdrawals, receipts or entry occurs. Be accountable for accuracy of the inventory and records in the area.

* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

* Continuously recommend and implement improvements to products and processes, that will increase throughput and decrease backlog, i.e. ECR's, procedures.

* Use material handling equipment, hand tools, and scales.

* Use power tools (crane, two motor, saw) as required.


High School diploma or equivalent GED required. 1-2 years stockroom experience. Basic(minimal) understanding of manufacturing concepts, i.e kanban, JIT, BOM and transaction flow. .
