Notice of Anticipated 2016 -2017 Vacancy

Position: Grounds Keeper - Fulltime

Job Goal: Maintains the perimeter grounds, courtyards, etc., which encompass each

building, including cutting, weeding, pruning, raking, trimming, sweeping,

edging, plowing, sanding, trash removal, school athletic field striping, field

diamonds, traffic lines, etc.

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar work area

* Working knowledge of custodial equipment, including floor machines, lawn mowers, etc.

* Must be able to maintain equipment in good and safe operating condition

* Hold a valid Driver's License

* Must be a good team member, able to cooperate with co-workers and supervisors

* Must be flexible to fill-in other job areas as needed (Custodial/Maintenance)

* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Reports To: Director of Facilities

Employment Terms: Full time - 12 Month position - competitive salary packet with

excellent benefits per contract with local 1303-110 (AFSCME)
