Position Reports to: Administrative Services Manager


This position will be focused on providing advanced administrative support, as well as independent project assignments to Partners, Principals, and Directors of the Professional Practice Network group. While the nature of the job responsibilities would remain primarily administrative, they would differ based on the requirements of each client.

This role requires a very high level of professional and ethical standards in communicating with both external and internal contacts. An advanced proficiency level of administrative skills including communication, calendar management, resolution of calendar conflicts and technology is required. Multiple responsibilities require adaptability, pro-activity, maturity, sound judgment and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability as a strong team player also required.


* Proactively anticipate and communicate clear, concise email messages.

* Superior organizational skills - work with Partners and team leads to manage client meetings.

* Communicate and interact in a poised and professional manner with all levels including Senior Management through Staff both internally and externally.

* Proficient at scheduling meetings, organizing and maintaining Outlook calendars and managing calendar conflicts.

* Adept at organizing heavy domestic and international travel requirements;

* Answer and screen calls in a professional manner, obtaining complete and accurate information and follow through on message delivery.

* Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion.

* Understand Deloitte polices and network, and know how to connect throughout the organization.

* Processes error free expense reports.

* Innovative thinker who works as an effective team member.


* Proficient knowledge of standard office equipment; Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Advanced RTrak, Workshare application skills, SAP skills; Strong typing skills

* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred; 5 to 7 years of related experience in administrative support for a large professional services organization

* Relevant experience, preferably in a large corporate, professional services or Big 4 environment

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

* Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

* Excellent organization and time management skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant, positive demeanor

* Ability to exercise good judgment/decision making when necessary

* Ability to prioritize and take initiative - assertive and confident

* Flexibility to work overtime as required

* Ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment

* Significant attention to detail and follow through skills
