Job Description:

Fairfield County-based housewares design brand Teroforma is looking for a FOCUSED, ORGANIZED, DEPENDABLE, OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR to join our team at our SOUTH NORWALK HQ. This is an assistant role that will work closely with our Operations Manager and assist in administrative tasks across the entire value chain - from working on projections, to monitoring purchase orders, from coordinating with freight partners to confirming receipt of goods, from checking in on warehouse processes to looking for ways to help optimize efficient customer shipping. Experience in value chain operations is important - we can train you to succeed in your role, but you need to show us that you have familiarity with the ins and outs of inventory-based operations. ResponsibilitiesPreparing stock status and replenishment reportsChecking in with our vendors to monitor live purchase orders for timely shipmentPreparing quarterly product performance reportsScheduling operations calls and meetingsWorking with freight partners to coordinate merchandise pickup at our vendor facilitiesCoordinating with our warehouse to ensure that shipments are received and recorded accuratelyWorking with our Customer Services team to assist in EDI processesReviewing large customer vendor guides to confirm required proceduresActing as an extension of the Operations team, especially when representatives are away from the officeUndertaking periodic customer research to identify new prospects and new opportunities Desired Skills & ExperienceFirst and foremost, you care about and take pride in the quality of your workVery good organizational skills and must be able to work accurately at paceYou probably have a college degree, but even more important is that you are smart, efficient, and cleverResults-oriented problem solver who can recognize potential issues and troubleshoot effectivelyStrong analytical, project planning and decision making skillsTeam player that facilitates a collaborative and productive work environmentDetail orientedStrong follow-up and communication skills - including excellent telephone skills and clear, accurate, and correct written EnglishStrong capabilities with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookAbility to travel/work between office and warehouse environmentsExperience with Quickbooks is a plus
