PURPOSE

The Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and communication, seasonal collections, and shopper marketing.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Director Customer Marketing

Indirect Reports to: Star brands VP of Sales

Key Peers: Customer Marketing Manager (Chocolate), Customer Marketing Manager (Biscuit), RBMs, Directors of Marketing (Chocolate & Biscuits), Brand Mangers (Chocolate & Biscuit), Godiva Seasonal Marketing Team, Pladis Procurement, Star Brands Legal

DIMENSIONS

Personnel supervised (direct): 1

Travel requirements [% of time]: 20%

Responsibilities:

Own all Seasonal collections

* Lead "External" Seasonal planning needs - work closely with Marketing to ensure Customer ideas / needs are captured and reflected in Seasonal offerings

* Own Seasonal Selling Story templates - JBP meetings, Industry Events, Item Launches

* Gather seasonal competitive information and guide team to course correct as appropriate

* Lead seasonal recap/assessment, to include bit not limited to performance vs. year ago, sell through, causal factors

Shopper Marketing

* Lead Shopper Marketing execution (from POS to in store programs)

* Design strategies /initiatives that will bring Brand plans to life with customer teams

* Manage day to day agency activities

* Work with relevant functions to develop customer specific shopper marketing strategies and initiatives

* Interact with legal, sales, marketing, finance and customers to secure on time execution of all programs

* Ensure delivery of business AOP

Trade Events

* Lead planning of Industry Events and Internal National Wholesale Meeting

* Responsible for the booth design and development for major trade shows

Qualifications:

* Minimum Education Required: College Degree

* Years of relevant experience: 5 years

* Keen working knowledge and mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Analytical skills

* Ability to work in fast paced, limited resource environment and juggle multiple priorities

* Self-motivated individual who is open-minded and willing to meet new challenges

* Ability to thrive in multi-tasking environment

* Solution-oriented

* Strong leadership skills
