**Graphic Design Specialist**


The Graphic Design Specialist will be responsible for developing and designing marketing materials in the Central Marketing Team for various tradeshow campaigns within the . This person will work on attendee and exhibitor design projects such as print and web ads, postcards, emails and eNewsletters, invitations and exhibitor sales and prospector sheets. This position is also responsible for providing hands-on support and training to Associates in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator programs to ensure a high quality of work is produced.


+ Work with Marketing Directors and Marketing Associates to meet design project needs

+ Brief on marketing projects and proactively contribute ideas for marketing materials

+ Have strong creative skills with an "eye for design" for concepts and overall layout

+ Work with Directors and Group Sales Directors to produce attendee and exhibitor marketing pieces across marketing disciplines

+ Produce accurate, high quality work within project deadlines and show budgets

+ Proficient in these design software programs: InDesign, Photoshop CS3, Illustrator as well as Quark and Adobe programs

+ Pre-flight digital files, load fonts and graphics and reformat original files, when necessary, to prepare and finalize a design project for production

+ Work well across departments with Production, Conference, Sales, eBusiness, Operations and EMG to produce, update and make finalize changes to creative work

+ Review project work quality and provide one-on-one coaching to Associates

+ Serve as a "go-to resource" for Marketing Associates with design questions

+ Proactively transfer design tips and best practices to the CMT to help improve the use of various design programs and drive efficiencies with project execution and turnaround time

+ Seek opportunities to contribute and openly share best practices across CM

+ Create attendee/ exhibitor marketing templates to streamline marketing execution

+ Help to identify Marketing Associate training needs and provide remedial skills training, when appropriate, before and during rotation cycles

+ Can help lead the team through special projects and/or show initiatives


Education: Undergraduate Degree

+ Strong creative/design skills with attention to detail

+ Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

+ At least three years of experience as a designer producing materials across multi-media campaigns; proficient in the use of software design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.

+ Excellent communication skills to understand and present marketing ideas

+ Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

+ Collaborative, team player who works well in a team and across departments\#LI-POST
