JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Multicultural Marketing, the marketing manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the multicultural strategy for the African-American segment. Overall, the marketing strategies will help drive profitable growth within the African American segment.

MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE

* Lead cross-functional team to create an integrated, multi-channel strategy; provide governance across all online / offline channel execution to ensure it is on strategy

* Partner with internal teams and collaboratively work to create promotional /field marketing programs; capture feedback, deliver strategic direction and marketing support

* Provide guidance to research / analytics teams for continuous development / monitoring of segment insights; serve as subject matter expert on segment trends-key insights to drive success

* Manage / monitor segment performance against key acquisition and retention metrics

* In addition to the African-American segment, develop International segment marketing strategy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Diverse marketing / business acumen

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Excel, Word

* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

* Relevant B2C marketing experience (minimum of 10 years)

* Direct marketing, particularly direct mail, email and digital/social (minimum of 10 years)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Knowledge of cable TV, telecommunications

* Experience in subscription marketing

EDUCATION

* Bachelors degree in Marketing or similar is required

* MBA is preferred.
