JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities include the administration of agreements and creating, tracking and maintaining multiple databases and other knowledge management tools in connection therewith. Provide analysis and contract summaries, as requested. Assist senior in-house attorneys with drafting and interpreting agreements and monitoring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide work guidance to paraprofessional and support staff in developing solutions to problems presented.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Fields and answers questions from business units concerning business unit issues, compliance implications, and other related legal topics.

Reviews and analyzes contracts (affiliation agreements, license agreements, and retransmission consent agreements) and maintain databases related thereto.

Works with senior in-house attorneys to proactively identify and address key legal issues for management.

Generates and distributes reports relating to contractual analysis, as requested.

Coordinates with outside counsel as needed.

Assists in drafting letters and other legal documents.

Maintains records relating to FCC Notice requirements and/or other records in support of Charter's legal department.

May perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school

Admission to State Bar in which Attorney practices

Related Work Experience

1 year experience in general business legal issues
