Hubbell Wiring Systems offers an array of electrical and electronic wiring devices, wire management systems, occupancy sensors and specialized wiring products for the marine and healthcare markets. A comprehensive source of electrical boxes, fittings and enclosures for a variety of world-wide markets including harsh / hazardous location, commercial and residential markets.

Position Overview:

Provide technical assistance and detailed product information to Field Sales Representatives, Product Mangers, end users, architects and specification engineers to enable proper selection and application of Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems and Bryant Electric products.

Responsibilities Include:

Answer inquiries relative to Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems and Bryant Electric products and their applications received by phone, email and/or fax.

Provide engineering drawings, installation instructions and wiring diagrams as requested.

Assist Product Marketing and Engineering by reviewing new/modified designs relative to ease of installation, product compatibility and other technical matters as necessary.

Assist Product Managers and Engineering in their development of catalogs, data sheets, installation instructions and other forms of both printed and electronic literature for new or redesigned products.

Troubleshoot wiring and applications with end users, electricians and engineers.

Provide competitive cross references.

Maintain and update online tools and product information on internal and external websites.

Maintain files on codes, standards (both UL/CSA) data on federal specifications, trade compliance and environmental inquiries as applicable.

Provide assistance and feedback to Quality Dept. regarding any reported product issues.

Assist in other functions, projects, training etc. as required.

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor of Science and/or Technical school graduate preferred or 5+ years experience in the Wiring Devices industry.

Hands-on electrical experience either within the wiring device industry or as a licensed electrician familiar with wiring applications is desirable.

The person should show good mechanical aptitude, be fluent in both spoken and written English and show a tendency to be creative in problem solving.

The candidate should be computer literate with strong understanding of Microsoft programs.

SAP experience is a plus.
