As a General Manager you contribute to your store's success by delivering strong business results through excellent team leadership and amazing customer experiences. Your attention to detail in store operations builds an elevated store experience through merchandising, staffing, development and sales.

Using your past retail experience you will:

* Demonstrate leadership excellence: Set and communicate clear goals, expectations and responsibilities with your team. Work with your area manager to understand local market, develop action plans, delegate and provide direction while consistently reviewing the retail store environment and business indicators for area of improvement. Provide quick decision-making and calm leadership during times of high pressure.

* Drive store sales: Set clear store sales goals and maximize the customer tea experience by identifying all of their tea needs. Provide motivating and inspiring daily conversations with the team focused on the enhanced sales process.

* Provide business management: Ensure operational compliance for the store (including cash handling, zoning, inventory and stock counts, and merchandising policies). Leverage reporting and drive sales goals through your team to achieve plan and maximize your business's opportunities. Gather customer feedback to create amazing experiences and to solve issues.

* Develop and build a great team: Support the recruitment, retention and development of new hires. Develop a high-performance sales team, build positive relationships through consistent coaching and feedback. Conduct performance reviews and set goals, to develop leaders and build a succession plan.

We'd love to hear from people with:

* Progressively responsible retail experience (3 years)

* Experience leading and coaching teams (2 - 3 years)

* Experience selling (commission based sales or specialty retail preferred) and training others

* High School Diploma/GED. Note: a college degree in business or a closely related field, OR 4 years of US Military service may substitute for a portion of the required experience

* Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation

* Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays, including a total of 40 or more hours per week
