ENCON designs and installs efficient commercial lighting and energy solution systems for our clients. The ability to grow long term business relationships is accomplished by showing personal interest in our customers' building asset strategy, and by proactively demonstrating energy efficiency and facility improvement projects which yield a positive return on investment consistent with our client's objectives.

Project Managers also coordinate interaction between customers and other company departments. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to engage sales, financial, technical, and energy-efficiency skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

+ Be capable of hitting sales target by developing qualified prospects through referral from ENCON's extensive customer base and your networking skills

+ Advise small business, commercial/industrial, municipal owners how to replace old high energy cost equipment with state of the art alternatives.

+ Conduct on-site assessments and educate consumer on benefits of energy efficiency

+ Comprehend all utility program requirements and standards

+ Establish customer rapport and identify needs by being a trusted advisor

+ Use company selling systems to survey, estimate and develop productively, client-centric proposals and make effective sales presentations to customers

+ Drive open opportunities to successful conclusion through negotiation and coordination with internal and external resources

+ Maintain an active backlog of projects using Salesforce system

+ Develop technical expertise, and consult with company staff and clients as needed

+ Providing an exceptional customer experience to our clients

Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies

+ Documented track record of sales achievements

+ Three (3) year commercial lighting sales experience.

+ Sales Skills including - effective written and oral communications, ability to listen, problem solver, well organized, self-starter and self-finisher, positive self-image, well mannered and courteous and person of Integrity

+ Understanding of labor estimating

+ Experienced in assessing commercial lighting design and planning for improved system performance

+ Preferred (but not required): Engineering or lighting/energy technology degree

+ Computer skills - Salesforce and Microsoft Office

+ Confidence and ability to make sound decisions

+ High moral standards and strong work ethic

+ Ability to productively work independent and as part of a team
