Provide technical expertise, support and problem solving capabilities for Branson customer base, both domestic and international, in order to maintain and generate additional business.


* Analyze and evaluate customer applications for ultrasonic assembly. Assist with recommending equipment, tooling and part design modifications for rigid plastics applications, textile and film processing.

* Perform material weldability evaluations.

* Provide application troubleshooting support both in-house and in the field. Position will require 10% travel.

* Conduct customer visits to provide technical information or solve customer problems.

* Provide written technical communications (i.e., application feasibility evaluation, application briefs, technical bulletins) for customer (both internal or external), Industry Groups and resin suppliers.

* Provide training for customers and new employees through in-house seminars, field seminars and lab training programs.

* Provide technical support to Market Segment Managers.

* Provide new product development support and evaluation.


Associates in Mechanical Engineering or minimum 3 years of experience in similar field. Problem solving/analytical skills. Technical writing skills. Interpersonal and public speaking skills. Good mechanical aptitude. Plastics and metal knowledge. Knowledge of plastic and metal processing/assembly techniques. Knowledge of material testing methods (tensile, compression and peel testing.)
