Job Description Guidemark Health, a dynamic, unique, and growing healthcare communications company (with offices in Stamford, CT, Parsippany, NJ, and Princeton, NJ) is searching for a Vice President, Medical Strategist with extensive medical communications experience to develop content for promotional medical education programs. This position is located in Stamford, CT.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic resource able to develop new insights about and implications for data beyond that which is found in the literature; consistently and proactively evaluate data for opportunities to strengthen the science story and drive marketing strategies
• To tell the science story, create content that is supportive of marketing strategies, including deliverables for slide kits, educational videos, scientific symposia, web conferences, and monographs
• Perform hands-on writing that is accurate, clear, and on message
• Confidently manage client and KOL interactions on behalf of the medical team
• Ensure that projects are prepared appropriately for client medical/legal/regulatory review (including meticulous annotation of all points of fact)
• Participate in planning of and attendance at advisory boards, speaker training meetings, congresses, and other activities, travelling to client meetings and onsite programs as needed
• Oversight and mentorship of multiple medical writers
Requirements for All Candidates:
• Advanced scientific degree, with a concentration in PAH and/or related field
• 5 or more years of experience developing promotional education programs with extensive client contact
• Strong track record in developing educational programs for physician audiences
• Ability to write and edit accurately, creatively, and on strategy in a fast???paced environment
• Managerial experience, eg oversight of medical writers and freelancers across multiple pieces of medical education business
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
• Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
• Demonstrated track record in engagement planning, providing tactical ideas to clients
• Experience in preparing for and presenting at new business pitches
